    Karaciğer tümörlerinde RF ablasyon tedavisi

    RF ablation therapy is an alternative to surgical resection in patients with hepatocellular cancer. This study aimed to investigate technical success RF ablation in patients with liver tumors. 34 patients aged 50-80 years (26 men, 8 women) with hepatocellular cancer were included in this study. RF ablation therapy was performed in 24 lesions under US guidance and in 10 lesions under CT guidance. Residüe was obtained in 3 of 28 tumor lesions greater than 2 cm and in 0 of 6 tumor lesions smaller than 2 cm. Two (5,9%) minor (pain) and two (5,9%) major (pneomothorax) complications occured. RF ablation therapy is an effective and reliable treatment option in hepatocellular cancer.
