| dc.description.abstract | Bergson’un süre ve bellek kavramları ile Deleuze’ün hareket-imaj ve zaman-imaj kuramlarından hareketle, Robert Bresson sinemasını ele almakta olan bu tez çalışması, modernizmin yarattığı nihilizm ve yabancılaşma gibi sorunların Bresson filmlerindeki karakterler üzerindeki etkisini analiz etmektedir. Tez çalışmasında, Bresson filmlerinin yukarıda anılan kavram ve kuramlarla ilintili olarak saf bir düşünce sineması oluşturduğu belirtilmekte ve Bresson’un tinsel duyumları, gündelik yaşamın içkin maddesi haline getirdiği ileri sürülmektedir. Bu anlamda Spinoza’nın duygulanımlar ve üç tarz bilgi kuramlarına başvurularak, Bresson sinemasında aşkınlığın içkinliği sorunsalı üzerinde durulmaktadır.AbstractThis thesis, which analyses Robert Bresson’s films through the concepts such as duration and memory raised by Bergson as well as Deleuze’s concepts of movement-image and time-image, dwells upon the relationship between such consequences of reality as nihilism and alienation and the characters in Bresson’s films. This work argues that Bresson’s films are the examples of pure thought cinema and that Bresson transforms spiritual sensations into the immanent substance of everyday life. In this sense, referring to Spinoza's theories of affections and three kinds of knowledge, the thesis focuses on the problem of the immanence of transcendence in the Bresson’s cinema. | |
