Abstract
SUMMARY In this study the administrative factors in the school and their effects on students success had been examined. Kuleli Military High School has been chosen as the research area for this study which has been focused on the educational activities in this school. In this research it has been intended to take precautions to improve the quality of the education and student's success, depending on the result of this study. In this descriptive research I considered both the teachers'and the students' evaluations in order to determine the effects of administrative factors upon the success of the students in the school system. For this reason two different questionaries, which are basically the same and of which have a wide perspective have been applied to two different parties (students and teachers). Questions which had been classified under nine topics in the questionnaire made it clear that the effects of the administrative factors showed their effects in the following fields. These fields are ; Professional development of the teachers. Students' approach for their profession and the futures school facilities, socio-cultural and leisure time activities, student's studying lesson, improvement and the applications of the programs, testing and evaluations of the student, communication between teacher, student and the administration, services for discipline and student's self-confidence. Each part of the questions in these fields is evaluated separately and in its own aspect and we have interpreted the finding in the questionnary. As the conclusion of this study it has been obviously revealed that students' success will be affected positively if the administrative factors in the school are well organized and students' demands are also taken into consideration. In this direction many suggestions have been put forward for increasing the success from the administrative point of view. 176
