Abstract
In thjs research, which is performed in a descriptive manner, investigation of the workers' opinions related to the performance evaluation system applied in private sport centers is aimed. Research working group includes 43 people working at 26 private sport centers active in Ankara. In research, as a data acquisition tool, measurement tool, related to the Performance Evaluation System developed by Bilgiç (1999) to measure the Human Resources Management Perception in institutions, is used with permission. Likert type survey composed of 38 items has criterion entries given as * completely appropriate: 5, appropriate: 4, undecided: 3, inappropriate: 2 and completely inappropriate: 1" In the scope of the research an entry analysis is done and the survey with 38 items is reduced to 24 items after the analysis. To determine the reliability of the criterion, Croanbach Alfa internal consistency coefficient is used and the Croanbach Alfa value of the criterion is found as 0.91. At the end of the research, arithmetic average of the average points ( x: 2.8556), obtained from the entries related to the performence evaluation, is observed that it is in general at a medium level. The result of the t test about the researchers' opinions directed towards the performance evaluation system compared according to sex, is found meaningless. However, being not statistical, men's averages are low related to the women's averages. The result of the t test about the researchers' opinions directed towards the performance evaluation system compared according to age, is found meaningless. However, being not statistical, averages of 26-30 ages are higher than averages of 20-25 ages.
