    Çocuk oto koltuğu kullanımı hakkında ailelerin bilgi düzeyinin değerlendirilmesi

    Child car safety seat usage is like a lifestyle in devoloped countries; but it is not common in devoloping countries. The primary aim of this research is to asses the level of parenteral knowledge and their attitudes about using car safety seats whom admitted to Ankara University Medical School Children's Hospital. The research is conducted between 1 November 2014 and 15 January 2015 at Ankara University Medical School Children's Hospital. Totally 760 parents who have child under 10 years old and who accepted to answer the questionnaire included into this research. They were asked a questionnaire consisting of 45 questions. At the end of the research we saw that 85.8% of the families have knowledge about child car safety seat and only 45.9% of them use child car safety seat. Child car safety seat usage is related with parents' educational level and income per person. They were also asked how they get child car safety seat, how old their chidren were when they get child car safety seat, what they pay attention while buying the child car safety seat. According to the results of the study all health workers, doctors and especially pediatricians must inform the families. Also media companies must be more used to inform families.
