Doç. Dr. Hasan NAZ2R In this study, we first prepared polidentate ligants which are used in synthesis of iron complexes. These ligants include NJ^'-bis(salicyIidene)-triethylenetetramine (LI), N.N'- bis(2-hydroxobenzly)-triethylenetetramine (L2), N,N',N"-tris(saIicylidene)-Maminoethyl- amine (13), N,N'fN"-tris(2-hydroxobenzly)-triaminoethylamme (L4), N-2-hdroxy-l- naphthaledene-N'-2-hydroxyethyl ethylene-diamine (L5) and N,N'-bis(ssalicylidene)- diethylenetriamine (L6) Schiff bases. Synthesized Schiff bases were reacted with ironÇOI) chloride and KN'-bis(salicylidene)-triemylenetetrarnine iron(HI) chloride (Kİ), N.N'- bis(2-hydroxobenzly>triethylenetetramino iron(III) chloride (K2), N,N',N"- tris(salicylidene)-triaminoethyl-aminato iron(m) (K3), N,N*,N"-tris(2-hydroxobenzly)- triaminoethyl aminato ironfUI) (K4), Bis{[u.-N-(2-hdroxy-l-naphthaledene)-N'-2- hydroxyethyl-ethylene-diaminato] chloro iron(III)} (K5) and N,N'-bis(ssalicylidene)- diethylenetriaminato chloro ironCttT) (K6) are obtained.
