| dc.description.abstract | Araştırma kolorektal kanserli hastalara bakım veren aile üyelerine uygulanan eğitimin bakım vermeye yönelik tepkileri ve sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışlarına etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel araştırma olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi İbni Sina Hastanesi, Cebeci Hastanesi ve Numune Hastanesi onkoloji servisi ve ayaktan kemoterapi ünitelerine ilk kez kemoterapi almaya gelen kolorektal kanserli hastalara primer bakım veren ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden, çalışmaya dahil edilme kriterlerini sağlayan (yaş ve eğitim düzeyi eşleştirilerek) 100 bakım verici oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın yapılabilmesi için etik kurul, kurum izni ve aile üyelerinden yazılı onam alınmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri ''Sosyo-Demografik Özellikler Veri Toplama Formu'', ''Sağlıklı Yaşam Biçimi Davranışları Ölçeği II'' ve ''Bakım Verici Tepki Değerlendirme Ölçeği'' kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Müdahale ve kontrol grubuna ilk görüşmede ön test uygulanmıştır. Ön görüşme sonrası müdahale grubuna üç kere yüz yüze bireysel, ortalama 45-60 dakikalık eğitim ve telefonla danışmanlık uygulanmıştır. Üçüncü eğitimin bitiminden hemen sonra müdahale ve kontrol grubundaki bakım vericilere son test uygulanmıştır. Müdahale grubuna uygulanan eğitim ve telefonla danışmanlık sonrası bu grubun SYBDÖ II fiziksel alt boyut hariç diğer alt boyut puan ortalamalarının arttığı (p<0,05); BVTDÖ ve öz değer alt boyut puanının azaldığı, BVTDÖ 'nin diğer alt alt boyut puan ortalamalarının minimal düzeyde arttığı fakat bu artışın istatiksel olarak önemli olmadığı saptanmıştır (p>0,05). Kontrol grubu son test sonrası SYBDÖ II ve alt boyut puan ortalamalarının istatistiksel olarak önemli bir fark olmadığı (p>0,05); BVTDÖ öz değer alt boyutu hariç diğer tüm alt boyut puan ortalamalarının arttığı ve aradaki farkın istatiksel olarak önemli olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Araştırma sonucunda KRK hastaya bakım veren aile üyelerine uygulanan eğitimin aile üyelerinin bakım vermeye yönelik olumsuz tepkilerini azalttığı ve sağlıklı yaşam biçimi davranışlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. | dc.description.ozet | The study was conducted as a pre-test-post-test, control group and quasiexperimental intervention research design in order to evaluate the effects of education applied to family members who provide care for patients with colorectal cancer on their healthy lifestyle behaviors and reactions towards caregiving. The study population consisted of 100 caregiver who provide primary care to patients with colorectal cancer, admitted to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine İbni Sina Hospital, Cebeci Hospital and Numune Hospital oncology and outpatient chemotherapy units for chemotherapy treatment for the first time, who agreed to participate in the research and met the research inclusion criteria (matched by age and educational level). In order to carry out the research, the necessary permission, ethics permission and written consent were obtained from family caregiver. The study data were collected using the "Socio-Demographic Characteristics Data Collection Form", "Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale II (HPLP-II)" and the "Caregiver Reaction Assessment (CRA)". The pre-test was applied to the intervention and control groups at the first interview. After the preliminary interview, the intervention group underwent three faceto-face individual training sessions, which lasted 45 to 60 minutes on the average, and also a counseling over telephone was provided. Immediately after completing the third training, the post-test was applied to the caregivers in the intervention and control groups. After the training and phone counseling provided to the intervention group, all HPLP-II sub-scale scores of this group, but the physical sub-scale, were found to increase (p<0.05), CRA total score and self-value sub-scale score was found to decrease, and other CRA sub-scale score averages were found to increase minimally, albeit not statistically significant (p>0.05). After the post-test applied to the control group, it was found that there was no statistically significant difference in the HPLPL-II total and sub-scale score averages (p>0.05), all the CRA sub-scale score averages, except the self-value sub-scale, were found to increase with a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). As a result of the research, the training provided to the family members who provided care to the patients with colorectal cancer was found to reduce negative reactions of the family members towards the care and affected their healthy lifestyle behaviors positively.
